AskAd.ai is an analytics tool for paid ads. You connect your ad accounts (Meta, Google, TikTok) and then ask questions about them in plain English: what is working, what is not, and why.

The problem is a common one. A business owner hires an agency, and every month the report says the same thing: CPL is down, leads are coming in, everything is fine. Something feels off, but there is nobody to ask, because the only person who understands the account is also the one being asked to grade their own work. We give them somewhere else to ask.

It does more than diagnose. It plans campaigns, ad sets and copy. What I want next is a copilot that builds the campaign and sets up the targeting itself, so the whole thing arrives ready to look over.

Israel has about ten million people. So does the Chicago metro area, which means one city holds as many people as the country I come from. Tel Aviv, where I grew up, is nothing like it.

Lake Michigan does not behave like a lake. You cannot see the other side, so it reads as a sea, and I still have not got used to it.

Summer here is genuinely beautiful. Winter I am less sure about. I come from a place where the weather is good more or less all year, so I expect that is the part I will actually have to adjust to.

You start on their About page or their published mission statement. Then, when the product fails or the service is bad, you read their own words back to them: "Your mission statement says you pledge to provide an unparalleled, hassle-free customer experience. Right now my experience has been very stressful. What can we do to make sure your team is living up to that promise today?"

Held to the standard it published itself, the company is in a different position. Saying no means contradicting its own stated values out loud, and most people will not do that.
